Kusya is one of those puppies. ❤️🐾

At just two months old and weighing only 2.5 kg (5.5 lbs), Kusya may be tiny, but her joyful personality is absolutely larger than life. She wakes up every day excited to play, explore, and make new friends. Whether she meets people, dogs, or even cats, Kusya greets everyone with curiosity, happiness, and a wagging tail.

She simply loves everyone.

Her name fits her perfectly. In Ukrainian, “kus” means a little playful nibble—and that’s exactly what Kusya loves to do. She happily follows people wherever they go, gently nibbling at their feet to ask for attention, invite you to play, or remind you that she’s ready for another cuddle. It’s impossible not to smile when she’s around.

Behind her cheerful spirit, however, is a heartbreaking beginning.

Kusya was one of six tiny puppies abandoned in a field near Kyiv. Someone left these helpless babies alone, without their mother, without food, and without any chance of surviving on their own. They were frightened, hungry, and completely dependent on someone noticing them before it was too late.

Thankfully, compassionate people found them, and our rescue team stepped in to bring them to safety.

Since then, Kusya has flourished.

With proper food, veterinary care, and plenty of love, she has transformed into a happy, healthy little puppy who is ready to begin the next chapter of her life.

Now she dreams of something every rescue animal deserves—a forever family.

A home where she can run through the garden, curl up beside her favorite person after a long day, and wake up every morning knowing she’ll never be abandoned again.

Kusya has already survived more than any puppy ever should.
