Meet Kusya — A Tiny Puppy With a Huge Heart Looking for Her Forever Family

She may weigh only 2.5 kg, but Kusya has a personality big enough to fill an entire home with love, laughter, and puppy mischief!

Meet Kusya, an adorable little girl who is approximately 2 months old and already ready to steal someone’s heart.

At the moment, Kusya weighs just 2.5 kg, but don’t let her tiny size fool you. This little puppy is full of energy, curiosity, affection, and an enormous desire to be close to people.

Kusya is an incredibly friendly girl who seems to believe that everyone she meets is a potential new best friend.

She loves being around everyone and is always ready for another game, another cuddle, or simply some attention from her favorite humans.

And her name couldn’t be more perfect.

Kusya has a very funny and adorable habit of following people’s feet around and giving them little playful nibbles. Her name comes from the Ukrainian word “кус”, meaning a little bite — and this tiny girl is always ready to give you one!

These playful little nibbles are just her way of saying:

“Hey! Don’t forget about me!” 🥰

Kusya is playful, energetic, and curious about the world around her. She is at the perfect age to begin discovering everything that life has to offer — toys, walks, adventures, training, cuddles, and all the wonderful things that come with growing up in a loving family.

But sadly, Kusya’s life began with anything but love.

She was one of six tiny puppies abandoned in a field near Kyiv.

There was no mother to protect them.

No food.

No warm shelter.

And no way for such young puppies to survive on their own for long.

They were completely helpless.

Thankfully, kind people discovered the puppies before it was too late, and Kusya was rescued and brought to safety.

Instead of growing up hungry and frightened in a field, she now has the opportunity to grow into a happy, healthy dog surrounded by love.

But she needs one more thing.

Her forever family.

Kusya is still so young that her entire future is ahead of her. She could become someone’s loyal companion, best friend, walking partner, and beloved family member for many years to come.

She deserves a home where she can grow up knowing that she is safe.

A family that will patiently teach her everything she needs to know.

People who will laugh at her silly puppy antics, celebrate her progress, and love her even when she inevitably gets into a little mischief.

Most importantly, she needs a family that will make her one promise:

She will never be abandoned again.

Kusya will be able to travel abroad to her forever home in approximately 4 months, once she has completed all the necessary vaccinations and paperwork.
