Dear friends and supporters, we urgently need your help.

For almost five years, our team has been caring for abandoned animals in the middle of the war in Kyiv, Ukraine. In recent weeks, the situation has escalated dramatically. Bombing now happens throughout the day, drones regularly fly over our shelter, and the village where our shelter is located has already been hit by two drones. Russia has also been targeting gas stations—and our shelter is located next to one.

We need to get as many of our dogs to safety as we can.

We have secured temporary placements in the EU for 12 dogs. They will be moved to shelters and foster homes in safer countries, but they will remain part of our program and our responsibility until we find them permanent homes.

Our goal is to raise $800 for each dog.

Approximately $500 per dog is needed for travel documents, medical preparation, and diesel for the evacuation trip.

Once safely in the EU, we expect to spend an average of $100 per month per dog for shelter expenses, food, and medical care until they are adopted.

The $800 sponsorship will help cover each dog’s evacuation and their first months of care in the EU while we work to find them a permanent home.
