“When I first started working with Sandy, she was a little timid. Whenever I opened her kennel, she would come out cautiously, as if she wasn’t quite sure yet what to expect from me.
But now everything has changed. 😊 She already knows that when I come up to her kennel, it means we’re going for a walk. Now she happily comes out on her own, runs alongside me for our walk, and then just as quickly heads back to her little room.
And this is where the sweetest part begins. I always tell her, ‘Sandy, you’re such a good girl! You did so well!’ And I think she already knows perfectly well that when she comes back, praise is waiting for her. So she runs into her kennel and waits for me to come over and tell her what a good girl she is. ❤️”
Sandy gets along well with other dogs.
The only thing to keep in mind is that Sandy may guard her food. So, especially at first, it’s best to feed her separately from other dogs — each dog in their own space, without unnecessary contact during mealtimes. If other dogs walk past while she is eating, Sandy may growl at them.
Other than that, she is an absolutely wonderful, intelligent, and incredibly sweet dog. She learns quickly, understands everything, and brings so much joy with every little step forward. ❤️🐾
