Kraken is an older dog, and it’s important for us to get him checked by a veterinarian to make sure he’s not in pain or facing serious health issues. At his age, proper care can make a huge difference in his comfort and quality of life.

We don’t know the full story of Kraken’s past, but one thing is certain — it wasn’t easy. Life on the streets is especially harsh for a small dog. Every day is a struggle for survival, where danger can come from anywhere. He may have been attacked by other dogs or hurt by people. Over time, those experiences shaped him. Kraken is very cautious around strangers and doesn’t get along well with other dogs. What looks like aggression is actually fear — a way to protect himself in a world that hasn’t been kind to him.

Everything changed when Kraken was hit by a car. He was on the edge of death when our team found him. We acted quickly, got him the medical help he needed, and gave him a second chance at life.

Today, Kraken is safe, but still guarded and distant. Yet behind that осторожність, we can see something more — a quiet желание to trust, to feel safe, and to finally experience love. With your help, we can give him not just treatment, but the care and compassion he has been missing for so long ❤️🐾
