A Healthy Future: Vaccination Day for Four Rescues

❤️ Vaccination Day for Chicco, Findi, Isla, and Skye ❤️

Rescue work is about so much more than saving animals from difficult situations. Every rescue is a long journey that continues long after a dog is brought to safety. Providing food, shelter, medical treatment, and preventative care are all essential parts of helping our dogs live happy and healthy lives.

This week, our teammate Katya took four of our wonderful dogs — Chicco, Findi, Isla, and Skye — to the veterinarian for an important appointment: their vaccinations.

For Chicco and Findi, it was time for their yearly booster shots. Annual vaccinations are an essential part of maintaining their health and protecting them from serious diseases. Even though these appointments may seem routine, they play a huge role in ensuring that our rescued dogs can continue enjoying their lives safely and comfortably.

Meanwhile, little Isla and Skye received their third puppy vaccinations. For young puppies, completing their vaccination schedule is a major milestone. These vaccines help build their immunity and prepare them for a healthy future filled with adventures, walks, playtime, and, hopefully, loving forever homes.

As always, our dogs were incredibly brave during their vet visit. There may have been a few nervous looks and a little uncertainty, but they handled the experience wonderfully and received plenty of love and reassurance along the way.

Preventative care is one of the most important responsibilities in animal rescue. Vaccinations, regular checkups, and proper medical attention help ensure that every dog in our care has the best possible chance at a long and healthy life. It is a commitment that requires time, effort, and resources, but seeing our dogs healthy and thriving makes every step worthwhile.

Today, we are happy to share that Chicco, Findi, Isla, and Skye are all up to date on their vaccinations and doing well. Moments like these may seem small, but they are important milestones on each dog’s journey toward a brighter future.
