Laska Is Waiting for Love and a Real Home

🥰❤️ Meet Laska — a dog with a gentle soul and a heart full of love, still waiting for someone to share it with.

Laska’s story began in one of the darkest places imaginable. During the war, she was left behind in an abandoned shelter, trapped without food or care during the occupation. Days turned into a fight for survival. Hunger, fear, uncertainty… she lived through it all. And yet, somehow, she didn’t lose her kindness. She didn’t stop trusting people.

After some time, we were able to rescue and evacuate Laska along with other dogs. She is now safe — but safety is not the same as having a home. What she truly needs is a person. Someone who will love her, care for her, and never leave her behind again.

Laska is around 6–8 years old, a medium-sized mixed breed weighing about 22 kg (48 lbs). She is vaccinated, chipped, and sterilized — fully ready to become part of a family.

What makes Laska special is her невероятна ніжність. She absolutely adores people. She seeks out hugs, kisses, and attention, always wanting to be close. She’s the kind of dog who greets you with genuine joy every single time — with warmth, excitement, and that “smiling” expression that instantly melts your heart 😊

She’s very social and loves being around humans, but because of that, she can also be a little jealous — she simply wants to be your number one. With other dogs, she generally gets along well, though she may compete for attention if she feels left out. With cats, she is calm and neutral.

Laska has had limited experience with children. She is friendly, but her enthusiasm can sometimes be a bit too much — she may jump up in excitement and accidentally knock a child over. She just doesn’t always realize her own strength when she’s happy.

There are a few things to understand about her past. Laska is missing half of her ear — a silent reminder of what she’s been through. She can also feel anxious if left alone for long periods, sometimes whining or barking. What she needs is patience, stability, and reassurance that she is finally home.

She walks well on a leash and can live as part of a multi-pet family, or alongside a cat. But more than anything, she needs love — consistent, genuine, and lasting.

Laska has already survived the worst chapters of her life. Now she deserves a happy ending — a home where she will be cherished every single day.
