Ryzhik Survived a Drone Strike — Help Him Recover!
🥺💔 Ryzhik Survived a Drone Explosion. Now He Needs Us More Than Ever! 🙏🐾
War leaves behind countless innocent victims, and animals are among those who suffer in silence. Today, we want to tell you the story of Ryzhik, a poor dog who miraculously survived a devastating drone explosion but now faces a difficult road to recovery.
Our teammate Vita discovered Ryzhik near Brovary after a Shahed drone blast. The explosion had left him badly injured. He had suffered burns and was struck by shrapnel, leaving him in urgent need of medical attention. It is heartbreaking to imagine the fear and pain this poor dog must have experienced. 😭💔
Vita could not leave him there. She immediately stepped in to help and arranged for his rescue. The dog was given the name Ryzhik, and when our team came to collect him in Kalynivka, an unexpected and deeply emotional moment took place.
A little boy, who appeared to be around seven years old, came to say goodbye to Ryzhik. With the innocence and sincerity of a child, he told us that Ryzhik was his friend and that he was a very gentle dog who never bit anyone.
That simple goodbye touched our hearts. 💔 We don’t know all the details of Ryzhik’s life before the explosion, but it was clear that he meant a great deal to this little boy. Leaving behind a familiar place and a beloved friend is difficult for anyone, especially a child.
Meanwhile, Ryzhik needed immediate medical care. Vita took him straight to a veterinary clinic, where the doctors admitted him for treatment and kept him overnight for careful monitoring. His injuries required professional attention, and it was essential to make sure his condition was stable before arranging the next stage of his recovery. 🏥🐶
Unfortunately, our shelter is currently completely full, and we simply don’t have a free space where Ryzhik can safely stay after leaving the clinic. We couldn’t allow this brave boy to be left without proper care, so we arranged a boarding facility where he can rest, receive attention, and recover in a safe environment.
But this rescue comes with expenses that we cannot cover on our own.
🙏 We urgently need your help to pay for Ryzhik’s veterinary treatment and boarding.
His recovery may take time, and he needs a safe place to stay while he heals. Every day of veterinary care and boarding brings additional costs, but we are determined to give Ryzhik the chance to recover and eventually enjoy a peaceful life.
We cannot undo what happened to him. We cannot take away the pain he has already endured or erase the frightening moments caused by the explosion. But together, we can make sure that his story does not end with suffering.
Ryzhik has already survived something terrible. Now he deserves the chance to rest, heal, and discover that there are still kind people in this world who are ready to help him. ❤️
Even a small donation can make a meaningful difference. If you are unable to contribute financially, please consider sharing Ryzhik’s story with your friends and family. Your share may reach someone who can help us cover his treatment and care.
🐾 Please help us give Ryzhik the care, safety, and second chance he deserves.
He survived the explosion. Now let’s help him recover and find his way to a brighter future. 🙏❤️
