Farewell, Sweet Scratch 💔

It is with immense sadness that we share the heartbreaking news that our beloved Scratch has crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

Not long ago, Scratch was diagnosed with lymphoma. By the time she came into our care, she was dangerously underweight, severely dehydrated, and desperately needed medical attention. Our veterinary team did everything they could to help her, and she spent her final days surrounded by people who loved and cared for her. Sadly, despite every effort, her fragile little body could no longer fight the disease.

Scratch’s story was one of heartbreak from the very beginning. When her owners moved away from their home in Kyiv, they abandoned her without a second thought. Left completely alone, she struggled to survive until our rescue team found her and brought her to safety. From that day on, we promised she would never have to face the world alone again.

Although her time with us was far too short, Scratch experienced something every animal deserves—kindness, compassion, and love. She knew gentle hands, warm meals, and the comfort of people who truly cared about her.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who donated toward her treatment, shared her story, and kept her in your thoughts and prayers. Your support gave Scratch comfort and dignity during the final chapter of her life.
