Meet Kleo — A Little Survivor With a Big Heart Who Is Waiting for Her Forever Family
She survived a freezing winter, abandonment, and a deadly illness. Now all Kleo wants is a family to call her own.
Meet Kleopatra, or simply Kleo — a wonderful little girl with a huge personality packed into just 10 kilos of energy, loyalty, and love.
Kleo is 3 years old, playful, funny, affectionate, and full of life. Once she feels comfortable with someone, she becomes deeply loyal and loves being around the people she trusts.
And there is one thing Kleo absolutely cannot resist…

Tell her how beautiful she is, tell her what a good girl she is, give her a little attention — and you will quickly discover why this little queen earned the name Kleopatra.
But behind her cheerful personality is a story that began with heartbreak.
Kleo was one of nine tiny puppies who were heartlessly abandoned on the streets of Zhytomyr during a freezing winter. They were small, frightened, exhausted, and completely defenseless.
They had no mother to protect them.
No warm home to hide in.
No one to make sure they had enough food.
The puppies were left to face the brutal cold and dangers of the streets on their own.
Somehow, they managed to survive.
But then another nightmare came.
The puppies became infected with parvovirus, a highly dangerous disease that can be devastating for young dogs. They were desperately ill, and veterinarians fought hard to save them.
Sadly, not all of them survived.
Of the nine little puppies, only five made it through.
Kleo and her four sisters were among those tiny survivors.
They were little warriors who refused to give up.
Today, it is almost impossible to imagine that this happy, energetic girl once had to fight simply to stay alive.
Kleo loves to play and has seemingly endless energy when it comes to having fun. She can happily spend time running, exploring, and enjoying life.
However, she can be a little cautious around people she doesn’t know.
Kleo doesn’t immediately trust everyone she meets. She may need some time to observe a new person and decide that everything is okay.
But once she gives you her trust, she gives it wholeheartedly.
Kleo is incredibly loyal to the people she loves.
She is the kind of dog who wants to know that her person is there, that she is safe, and that she belongs.
Because of her slightly timid nature, Kleo would do especially well in a patient and loving home where she isn’t pressured to adapt immediately.
A friendly, confident dog already living in the family could also be a wonderful companion for her. Having another dog around may help Kleo feel more secure, learn to trust her new surroundings, and become more confident.
She doesn’t need a perfect family.
She needs a kind family.
A family willing to give her time.
A family that will celebrate her little victories.
A family that will understand that trust sometimes takes time to build.
And, of course, a family that is prepared to give this little queen all the compliments she deserves. 👑❤️
