Kyiv Under Fire: Our Dogs Need Safe Homes Now!
🚨 Kyiv After the Attacks: Our Dogs Desperately Need Safe Homes! 🐾💔
This is the heartbreaking reality of Kyiv after another day of Russian attacks. Streets, buildings, and places where people once felt safe have been damaged, and the threat of further strikes continues. Now, our shelter dogs urgently need a chance to escape this danger and find safety. 🙏
On September 28, Kyiv and the surrounding region endured hours of drone attacks. The strikes caused destruction across the capital, damaging residential buildings, businesses, and essential civilian infrastructure. A Russian drone hit the building of Ukraine’s National Academy of Sciences in central Kyiv, killing one person and injuring others, including children. A Dobrobut medical center was also struck, adding to the devastating impact of the attacks.
Behind every damaged building are people whose lives have been changed in an instant. And among those affected by the constant threat of war are the animals who depend on us for their protection and care. 🥺💔
Our greatest concern right now is the safety of the dogs in our shelter.
Our team is doing everything possible to care for them, but the situation is becoming increasingly unpredictable. Every new attack raises the fear that one day a strike could hit our shelter or the surrounding area. We cannot afford to wait until that happens. We need to act now, while there is still an opportunity to get our animals to safety.
That is why we are urgently looking for people in Europe and the USA who are willing to adopt our dogs and offer them a permanent, loving home. 🏡❤️
Many of these dogs have already experienced terrible hardships. Some survived on the streets, others were abandoned, and all of them have had to endure the uncertainty and fear that come with living in a country at war. They have already lost so much time feeling unsafe. They should not have to spend another day worrying about what might happen next.
Imagine what a difference a loving home could make to a dog who has spent so long surrounded by danger. A warm place to sleep, regular meals, peaceful walks, gentle affection, and a family that will never abandon them — these are the simple things we want every one of our dogs to experience.
We dream of the day when our dogs will no longer have to hide from explosions or be frightened by the sound of drones overhead. Instead, they will be able to enjoy ordinary, happy lives, surrounded by people who love them. 🐶💕
But we cannot make that dream come true without your help.
🙏 Could you become the person who gives one of our dogs a safe future?
If you live in Europe or the USA and are ready to adopt, please contact us. Your home could become the safe haven that one of these dogs desperately needs.
And if adoption is not possible for you, please share this appeal. Someone in your circle may be able to offer a home and change a dog’s life forever.
Our dogs have already survived so much. Now, they deserve the chance to leave the horrors of war behind and finally discover what it feels like to be truly safe.
❤️ Please help us find them loving homes before it is too late. Every adoption can save a life. 🐾🙏
