Scratch Is Fighting Lymphoma. He Needs Your Help to Keep Fighting.

No dog should have to fight cancer alone—especially after already surviving abandonment. 💔🐾

Today, we are asking for your help for one of our rescue dogs, Scratch, who has just been diagnosed with lymphoma.

Right now, Scratch is hospitalized under the care of our veterinary team. His condition is serious. Along with cancer, he is suffering from severe dehydration and extreme malnutrition. His body is weak, exhausted, and in urgent need of intensive medical care before doctors can even begin focusing on the disease itself.

The veterinarians are doing everything they can to stabilize him, but his recovery will not be quick or easy.

Scratch has already been through more than any dog should ever have to endure.

When his previous owners moved out of their home in Kyiv, they simply left him behind.

No goodbye.

No food.

No water.

No one to care for him.

Confused and alone, Scratch was forced to survive on the streets, waiting for people who were never coming back. We can only imagine how many days he spent wondering why his family had disappeared.

Thankfully, our rescue team found him before it was too late.

The day we brought Scratch into our care, we made him one promise:

He would never be abandoned again.

Today, we are doing everything possible to keep that promise.

Scratch is surrounded by people who love him, but love alone cannot pay for emergency diagnostics, hospitalization, medications, blood tests, IV fluids, and the specialized treatment he now desperately needs.

Every day he remains in the veterinary hospital brings new expenses, and the bills continue to grow.

Despite everything he’s been through, Scratch hasn’t given up.

He still looks at people with hopeful eyes. He still accepts gentle touches and kind words. He still wants to believe that life has something good left to offer him.

Now it’s our turn to fight for him.
