🙏 Meet Lucky — a young dog whose future depends on one difficult, selfless decision.

His owner, a young man living in Ukraine, is facing a reality no one should have to endure. With the uncertainty of war, he lives with a constant fear: that one day he may not return home… and Lucky could be left completely alone in the world.

Out of love — not abandonment — he made an incredibly painful choice. He is now searching for a new family for Lucky. Not because he wants to let him go, but because he wants to protect him. Because he believes Lucky deserves a future that is safe, stable, and full of care, no matter what happens.

Lucky is still very young — around 11 months to 1 year old — and full of life. He’s playful, energetic, and always happy to be around people. There’s still a bit of puppy in him: he loves to have fun, can be a little mischievous at times, but he is always kind, gentle, and never aggressive.

He’s also a smart boy who learns quickly. Lucky already knows basic commands and listens well. He can stay home alone for short periods (about 1–2 hours), though longer separations are still challenging for him — like any young dog, he simply needs time, patience, and love.

On walks, Lucky is curious and active, always eager to explore the world around him. He’s still improving his house training — he usually tries to hold it, but sometimes uses a pee pad indoors.

Despite his young age, Lucky has already gone through serious challenges. He had two major intestinal surgeries, and thankfully, he recovered well. Today, he has a healthy appetite and no ongoing issues — a strong, resilient dog ready to live a full life.

Lucky is a medium-sized mixed breed, weighing around 13–16 kg (28–35 lbs). He is vaccinated and ready to begin a new chapter with someone who will never leave him behind.

This is more than just adoption. It’s a chance to give a dog safety, stability, and a future filled with love — something his current owner wishes he could guarantee himself.
