Zoja - A Brave Rescue Dog Ready for Her Forever Home
Meet Zoja – A Survivor Waiting for Her Forever Family πΆβ€οΈ
Zoja is more than just a rescue dog. She is a quiet survivor with a gentle heart, still believing in people despite everything she has endured.
When the war began, Zoja found herself trapped in an abandoned shelter. During the occupation, she and many other dogs were left without food or proper care. It was a time of fear, uncertainty, and survival. Yet even in those darkest days, Zoja did not lose her kindness. She remained affectionate, people-oriented, and hopeful.
After a long and difficult journey, we were finally able to evacuate her to safety. Today, she is no longer fighting to survive – she is simply waiting. Waiting for the one person who will choose her. Waiting for a loving family who will offer stability, protection, and a forever home where she will never be abandoned again.

Personality and Temperament
Zoja truly loves people. She is affectionate, enjoys communication, and thrives on companionship. Walks are her favorite activity, and she moves confidently on a leash. She is house-trained when taken out regularly and can stay home alone calmly without howling or anxiety.
With other dogs, Zoja plays well and does not provoke conflicts. However, she has a naturally dominant temperament and may try to establish leadership with new animals. Because of this, she would ideally do best as the only dog in the family. She can also become a second dog with proper introduction, patience, and supervision during the adaptation period.
She has no experience living with children or cats, so a calm and understanding environment would help her feel secure.
Why Zoja Deserves a Second Chance
Zoja has already survived abandonment, hunger, and war. What she deserves now is stability, kindness, and a loving adoptive family. She is a loyal companion, a devoted friend, and a dog who will bond deeply with her person.
Dog adoption saves lives. Choosing a rescue dog like Zoja means giving hope where there was once fear. It means turning a story of survival into a story of belonging.
Zoja is ready. She is safe. She is waiting.
