Support Our Shelter: Urgent Fundraiser for Animal Safety

Greetings to our cherished community and supporters! We come to you seeking assistance in a time of great need. Our ongoing mission in the United States has seen the successful placement of two dogs into loving homes. However, we now face the urgent task of relocating an additional 30 dogs and 3 cats to our new shelter within the next 10 days!

As many of you may recall, just two months ago, we launched a fundraiser with the aim of securing a new premises. Unexpectedly, our previous landlord informed us of the sale of our former residence, and the new owners have plans to demolish the property. This unforeseen circumstance forced us into a scramble to find alternative accommodation. Despite our efforts, we were led astray by a dishonest landlord, prolonging our search for a suitable abode. Finally, we have secured a new home, thanks to a landlord who graciously agreed to accommodate all our animals.

However, our challenges are far from over. We find ourselves in a precarious situation, as operating a shelter without proper fencing poses significant risks in Ukraine. The threat of vehicular accidents looms large, but equally concerning are the malicious actions of individuals who view stray animals as nuisances. To protect our beloved pets and ensure harmony with our new neighbors, we intend to erect an imposing 8-foot cement wall around the property. With a lease signed for a four-year term and the option to purchase, we view this investment in security as a prudent long-term decision.

Here is a breakdown of the funds required:

  • Rent & Deposit: $1600
  • Utilities Connection: $400
  • Relocation of Dog Recreation Area: $895
  • Vaccinations: $262
  • Construction of 8-foot Cement Wall: $6775
  • Total: $9932

Gratefully, our previous fundraiser garnered $2225, leaving us with a shortfall of $7707 to meet our current needs.

Your continued support and generosity are invaluable to us as we strive to provide a safe haven for these vulnerable animals. Together, we can make a tangible difference in their lives and ensure a brighter future for all. Thank you for standing with us in this vital endeavor!
