A Heartwarming Journey: Smilyk's Homecoming to Long Island
A Heartwarming Journey: Smilyk's Homecoming to Long Island
Our Smilyk has finally found his home in Long Island! And his new owner is Vika, a Ukrainian American friend of our rescue organization. 🇺🇦🇺🇸🐶
Smylik was rescued from Irpin, a city that suffered during the Russian occupation. Just last week, he made the journey from Ukraine to the United States, and yesterday, he embarked on a private plane from DC to Long Island, accompanied by pilot David Campbell!
Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to David and Pilots N Paws for facilitating this incredible journey. We extend our warm thanks to Vika and Peter for giving Smilyk the opportunity to live a joyful and fulfilling life. Special appreciation also goes to Suzanne Newton (https://facebook.com/suzanne.newton.3), who took time from her humanitarian efforts in the East to transport these dogs from Ukraine to Warsaw, where they awaited their flights. 🥰🙏
