Character: One day, people were walking in the forest and suddenly something rustled in the bushes... four small balls were just lying on the ground. People were worried, they did not know what to do with 4 small puppies and gave them to an animal shelter. The shelter was very poor, there was almost no food, the cages were outside. Basia and her 3 sisters lived there for 4 years. They never knew what a loving person and their own home are, they didn't even know that they could be petted and it would be nice. That's why now Bettie is a little afraid of people, she is very gentle and kind, not aggressive, but when you pet her, she doesn't know what to expect from a person and is a little nervous . She needs to be shown what kindness and care are and what true love is.
Bettie was evacuated from during the active invasion of Kyiv. She was evacuated to our kennel near the Polish border and is still waiting to find their home, because they cannot go back to Kyiv again.
