9 Dogs Have Left Kyiv! Their Journey to Safety Has Begun

Nine dogs are finally on their way to a safer future! 🐾❤️

This morning, nine dogs left Kyiv and began their journey to the European Union, leaving behind the danger and uncertainty they had been living with near our shelter.

We could not have done this without the incredible people who came to Ukraine to help. Four brave volunteers travelled to Kyiv to stand by our dogs when they needed help the most. We are deeply grateful for their compassion, courage, and willingness to put their time and energy into saving innocent lives. 🙏❤️

But this morning was far from peaceful.

As the volunteers loaded the dogs into the vans, gunfire and terrifying explosions echoed nearby. It was a frightening and emotional experience, and a powerful reminder of just how urgently these animals need to reach safety. Despite the danger, the evacuation went ahead, and nine precious lives are now one step closer to a better future. 💔

To our amazing volunteers: thank you for showing up when it mattered most. Your kindness is giving these dogs a chance to live without the constant threat of danger.

But we cannot stop here.

Many more dogs are still waiting for their chance to escape the danger zone. They need loving forever homes, temporary foster families, and people willing to support our rescue efforts. Every dog who finds a home creates space for another animal to be rescued.

❤️ Will you help us make the next evacuation possible?

Please consider adopting a dog, offering a foster home, or donating to support our work. Every act of kindness brings us closer to getting more dogs out of danger.

Nine dogs have started their journey to safety. Let’s help the next ones follow. 🐶❤️
