Just look at Lys enjoying the water with his American family in Northern Europe! Seeing this handsome boy splash around and enjoy life brings us so much happiness. ❤️ It’s hard to imagine that not so long ago, he was fighting simply to survive.

Lys’s journey began in Zhytomyr, where he was found in heartbreaking condition. When he arrived at our kennel alongside two other dogs, all three were severely emaciated. They were frighteningly thin, physically weak, and exhausted after enduring so much. Their condition was so serious that we could only hope they would have the strength to recover.

But Lys was given a chance.

With veterinary care, proper nutrition, patience, and plenty of kindness, he slowly began to regain his strength. Day by day, his body had the opportunity to heal, and the loving care around him helped him move toward a brighter future. ❤️‍🩹

Recovery takes time, but every small improvement matters. For dogs who have experienced such hardship, having enough food, a safe place to rest, and people who care for them can be the beginning of an entirely new life.

And today? Lys is living the life every dog deserves! 🏡

He is now surrounded by a family who loves him and gives him the security he once lacked. Instead of worrying about where he will find his next meal or whether he will be safe, Lys can enjoy the simple pleasures that make life wonderful.

He can splash in the water, explore the world with his people, spend peaceful days at home, and enjoy the comfort of knowing he belongs. These moments may seem ordinary, but for a dog who once struggled to survive, they mean everything.
