Meet Ayumi — A Survivor with So Much Love to Give 🐾❤️

Ayumi is a beautiful, gentle dog with a heart that has remained full of love despite the terrible things she has endured. She gets along well with other dogs, avoids conflict, and absolutely adores people. Her kind nature and quiet, well-mannered personality make her a truly special companion.

But behind her loving eyes lies a painful past that still affects her today.

Ayumi struggles with being left alone. Being confined to a crate or shut away in a room causes her distress. We believe this fear may be connected to the abandonment and suffering she experienced before she was rescued. She needs a home where her feelings will be understood, where she can feel secure, and where her new family will help her build confidence at her own pace.

A Past No Dog Should Ever Experience 💔

Ayumi’s story is heartbreaking. She was abandoned on the streets while pregnant, left to face the world without protection or care. When she gave birth, the people around her drowned her puppies and even threatened to kill Ayumi herself.

With no puppies left to nurse, Ayumi was still producing milk and suffering from the physical pain of losing them. She hid in the bushes, crying in distress for days, with no one coming to help her.

Imagine being so vulnerable, having lost everything, and having nowhere safe to turn. Ayumi endured unimaginable suffering, yet her story did not end there.

The Rescue That Changed Her Life 🙏

Thankfully, our teammates Vita and Karina found Ayumi and refused to leave her behind. They took her to a veterinary clinic, where she received the medical attention and care she desperately needed.

Their kindness gave Ayumi a second chance — not only to recover physically, but also to begin feeling safe around people again.

Today, she is living proof that even after experiencing terrible cruelty, a dog can still learn to trust and love. Ayumi remains affectionate, gentle, and friendly with people. Her ability to open her heart again is truly remarkable.

Now Ayumi Needs a Family of Her Own 🏡

Ayumi has already survived so much. Now, she deserves a future filled with kindness, comfort, and security.

She needs a patient family that understands her fear of being left alone and is willing to help her feel safe. She may need time, reassurance, and a thoughtful approach to settling into her new home, but she has so much affection to give in return.

Ayumi isn’t looking for a perfect family. She needs people who will see her for who she is, respect her needs, and make her feel that she finally belongs somewhere.
