🐾💔 Gerda Needs a Safe Home in the EU

The situation around our shelter is becoming increasingly dangerous. Bombing in the surrounding area has intensified, and even local gas stations have been targeted. Our shelter is located right next to one of them, putting the animals in a particularly vulnerable position.

With winter approaching, we are urgently working to evacuate as many of our dogs as possible to safer places. For Gerda, finding a loving home or a safe foster placement in the EU could mean the beginning of an entirely new chapter. ❤️

Gerda’s life was once very different.

Her previous owners abandoned her and left her outside on bare ground, tied to a short chain. She had almost no freedom and very little comfort. Thankfully, a kind woman who was helping care for one of our houses discovered Gerda and refused to leave her behind. She rescued her and gave her the chance to experience a different life. ❤️

And what a difference that second chance has made!

Today, Gerda is a happy, energetic, and affectionate girl. She loves being around people and enjoys everything a dog should be able to enjoy — kind words, cuddles, long walks, games, running, and jumping with excitement. 🥰

She is smart, well-behaved on a leash, and wonderful with people. Once you meet her, it is hard not to fall in love with her cheerful personality and loving nature.

After everything Gerda has survived, she deserves more than just a safe place to wait. She deserves a family, a warm bed, daily walks, gentle hands, and someone she can finally call her own.

Please note: Gerda needs to be the only dog in the household.

We are urgently looking for someone in the EU who can give Gerda the safe and loving future she has been waiting for.
