The Moment That Changed Everything – 8 Years of Rescue 💛🐾
This year, we are celebrating an important milestone – eight years of saving lives.
As we look back on our journey, there are certain moments that shaped who we are today. Moments that changed not only our path, but the lives of countless animals.
One of those moments happened in 2018.
During that time, our director, Mandy Allen, visited a shelter just outside Kyiv. What she saw there left a lasting impression. The number of stray animals was overwhelming, and the reality they faced was heartbreaking. With limited resources and support, many animals were left to survive on the streets, where they often faced cruelty, neglect, and even poisoning.
It was impossible to walk away and forget.
That visit became a turning point.
Mandy realized that something had to change – that these animals deserved more than survival. They deserved safety, care, and the chance to find loving homes. That was the beginning of our mission: to rescue vulnerable animals in Ukraine and help them find families both locally and abroad.
From that moment on, everything moved forward with purpose.
Over the past eight years, we have rescued and rehomed hundreds of dogs and cats. Each life saved is a story of transformation – from fear to trust, from uncertainty to belonging.
But our work is far from over.
There are still so many animals waiting for help. Still so many stories that have yet to find their happy ending.
This anniversary is not just about looking back – it’s about continuing forward.
