From Neglect to Triumph: Gerry Wins First Place!

🏆🇺🇸 From a backyard of suffering in Ukraine… to standing proudly as a winner in America!
Our amazing boy Gerry has just taken 1st place in a U.S. photo contest, and our hearts couldn’t be fuller! 🎉🐾

Gerry’s journey began in Ternopil, where he and other dogs were cruelly left locked in a yard without food or water after their owners fled. 💔 Their cries for help were heard by neighbors, who broke in to save them and shared their story online. The moment we saw it, we knew we had to help.

At our peretrymka (temporary shelter) in Stryi, Gerry finally found safety — and fate brought him together with Rick, a volunteer from the USA. 🇺🇸 Rick spent months rebuilding homes and healing hearts, giving our dogs love and trust. One of those dogs was Gerry… and soon, Rick decided to bring him home forever. ❤️

Today, Gerry’s eyes shine with confidence and joy. He’s not just surviving — he’s thriving. This is what love, compassion, and your support make possible. 💛
