Help Druzhok Heal: Urgent Medical Care Needed

When Marina noticed something was wrong with one of the stray enterprise dogs, she didn’t hesitate — and neither did our teammate Katya. Acting quickly, Katya rushed Druzhok to the vet for an emergency examination.

The news wasn’t easy to hear. Druzhok is suffering from significant weakness in his hind legs, and the vet detected clear signs of spinal discomfort. There’s a strong suspicion of spinal disc disease, inflammation, or possibly other serious spinal cord problems.

To properly diagnose and treat him, Druzhok urgently needs an MRI scan and additional tests. Until then, he must stay calm — no stairs, no running, no jumping — and he has already begun a course of prescribed medications to manage his condition.

The total cost of today’s veterinary visit, tests, and medications was 3,360 UAH (around $85). It’s an unexpected but absolutely necessary expense to give Druzhok a real chance at healing and returning to a happy, pain-free life.
