Meet Basya and Betty — two street dog puppies whose bond is as unbreakable as their gentle hearts. These two sweet souls do everything together, moving through the world side by side with quiet kindness and care.
They may be shy and reserved, but never once have they shown aggression. Instead, they radiate calmness — a kind of love that doesn’t shout, but gently surrounds you.
Basya and Betty have a special gift: they look after others just like them. When a fragile pup named Scarlett joined the shelter, painfully thin and afraid, these girls gave her their food, cuddled beside her, and wrapped her in quiet comfort. After Scarlett was adopted through our street dog adoption program, they turned their love to Rosina, another fearful dog on street who blossomed in their presence.
They walk well on a leash — though they might hesitate at first, once they start walking, you’ll see their tails wag with joy. Forest walks are their favorite part of the day, a peaceful escape where they can simply be dogs.
Call out “girls,” and both Basya and Betty come running with soft eyes and gentle hearts. They’re well-mannered, never mischievous, and always ready to offer quiet companionship.
These girls have known fear and abandonment, but they’ve never stopped showing love. They are the perfect example of how rescue street dogs can transform — not only through care, but also by giving care to others.
They deserve a forever home — one filled with patience, warmth, and the understanding that love doesn’t have to be loud to be powerful.
