Keiko the Ukraine street dog is healing after surgery

Our sweet and brave Keiko — one of our beloved Ukraine stray dogs — has taken a huge step forward on his road to recovery. Today, after undergoing urgent surgery, Keiko finally returned from the vet clinic to our shelter house. 🐾❤️

The operation went smoothly, and Keiko is already feeling much better. This strong street dog puppy is now receiving his prescribed medication and, just as importantly, all the love, warmth, and care he needs to heal fully.

We are deeply relieved, but our journey with Keiko isn’t over yet. So far, we’ve spent $1,250 on his surgery, treatment, and overnight care. Supporting one dog on street through recovery is costly — but every life is worth saving.

Keiko’s story is one of many. Like him, countless street dogs for adoption in Ukraine suffer injuries, illnesses, and abandonment. Our mission is to rescue street dogs, provide them with medical attention, and transform dog lives through compassion and consistent care.
