Zhytomyr Animal Rescue: Transporting Puppies with Passion

Our team member Pavlo, who manages the Zhytomyr house, embarked on a journey spanning a distance of 500km or 310 miles to meet Rick, our dedicated American volunteer. This was Rick’s third time coming to work with us, and his passion for animal welfare was evident in his willingness to wait at the train station for Pavlo’s arrival, despite having to spend the night there. The reason for this was due to one of our vans, which Rick was supposed to drive, needing to be repaired in Poland.

Despite this unforeseen setback, Pavlo and Rick remained determined to continue with our mission of helping animals in need. Together, they worked tirelessly to move five adorable puppies – Bobby, Bibi, Brownie, Bouncy, and Baloo – to another kennel. This new kennel will provide the puppies with more extensive training and a nurturing environment, preparing them for their forever homes.

It’s always heartwarming to see individuals from different parts of the world coming together to make a positive difference in the lives of animals. We are grateful for the dedication and hard work of our team members and volunteers, and we are confident that these puppies will find loving homes soon, thanks to their efforts.
