We’re Drowning in Debt – But Saving Lives Every Day

For weeks, we tried to rescue a homeless mom-cat who hid her kittens somewhere in the roof of our shelter. We placed a crate outside, hoping she would move them there. Many stray cats came to eat – and we fed them all – but Naomi, the mother, never appeared with her babies.

Then, to our surprise, Naomi and other neighborhood cats found a secret way inside our bathroom and storage through the roof. Thankfully, it’s safe there – dogs can’t reach it, and Frodo, who lives in the storage room, is gentle with cats.

Finally, Naomi trusted us. She carried three tiny kittens into the storage shelf. We carefully moved them into a safe cage. But later that night, we heard another faint cry… After searching everywhere, we found a fourth kitten. Now Naomi is safe with all four of her babies 💛

This miracle came at the worst possible moment. We are completely out of funds and borrowing money at high interest just to feed and care for the animals. Every day we fear being crushed by debts we can never repay.
