Street Dog Adoption Triumph: "Remember Me" Amidst War

As the war’s onset loomed, our valued partners at “Remember Me,” a dedicated French canine rescue organization situated in Romania, generously assumed responsibility for more than 60 of our dogs amidst the tumultuous invasion. The heartening news is that they’ve succeeded in securing loving homes for nearly all of these dogs, predominantly in France and Belgium, eliciting an outpouring of admiration for their exceptional street dog adoption efforts! 😍🙌

Notably, a substantial portion of these four-legged companions hailed from Borodyanka. During the initial week of the invasion, the city fell under Russian occupation, resulting in an agonizing five weeks during which the Borodyanka shelter endured severe shortages of food, water, and human presence.

In the accompanying photographs, we have the pleasure of introducing you to Tanya and Anna, two inseparable sisters who dedicated their lives to rescuing dogs in Borodyanka. Their recent heartwarming reunion with their beloved dogs at “Remember Me” has left everyone beaming with joy! 😊
