Three Years of War: A Struggle for Survival

Today marks three years since Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine, bringing destruction, loss, and unimaginable suffering. Before the war, our organization had already been working tirelessly for four years, rescuing and caring for animals in need, including countless Ukraine stray dogs. But when the invasion began, everything changed in an instant.

Our volunteers and the animals they cared for found themselves trapped in occupied areas, facing constant danger. Bombings, shortages of food and medicine, and the ever-present fear of Russian attacks made our mission more difficult than ever. Yet, we refused to give up. We knew that every dog on the street still deserved love, safety, and a second chance at life.

Rescue, Hope, and the Fight for a Better Future

Since that day, we have been forced to adapt to a new “normal” – a reality shaped by war, uncertainty, and the daily fight to survive. But despite the destruction, we remain committed to our mission. We continue to rescue street dogs, providing them with food, medical care, and the hope of a better future. Every dog we save is a symbol of resilience and the power of compassion.

For three years, we have worked against all odds to keep helping those who cannot help themselves. Whether it’s finding safe shelters, arranging street dog adoptions, or simply ensuring that no abandoned pet is left behind, we will not stop. We will not give up.
