Six Rescued Dogs Are Heading to Their Forever Homes in Europe
Exciting news! Today, six of our beloved dogs have started their journey to their forever homes! They’re being accompanied by Katya and our incredible Danish volunteers, Pia Düring Lausen and Carina Fjer. The group is headed to the Polish border and then on to Berlin, where the wonderful Lisa will meet them and take them to their new homes across Europe! 🥰🐕🗺️
Let’s meet the lucky travelers:
- Three Puppies from Lviv: These adorable pups were born to a stray dog. While some locals wanted to help, others were planning to get rid of them. Fortunately, we stepped in just in time, and now these three puppies are on their way to loving families!
- Frosya: Rescued from another shelter, Frosya is finally getting her chance to find a forever home.
- Kira: Abandoned on a highway, Kira was terrified and narrowly missed being hit by several cars. Our friend Yulia spent an entire day rescuing her. Now, Kira is on her way to a safe and loving environment.
- Masha: During the invasion, someone pleaded with us to take Masha in, and she ended up in a Romanian shelter with 60 of our other dogs. Over two years, most of them were adopted, but four – Masha included – remained. Katya brought them back to us, and now, Masha is finally on her way to the forever family she’s dreamed of.
The preparations for these dogs – including health checks and documents – cost us $2700, and the transport itself will be $870. With $2100 raised from adoption fees, we still need an additional $1470 to cover the remaining expenses.
Please, if you can, donate below to help us meet the costs and complete their journey to a better life. Thank you so much for your support! 🙏❤️
We are incredibly grateful to Pia, Carina, Lisa, and all our amazing volunteers who made this possible! Thanks to your kindness, these dogs have bright futures ahead! ❤️
