Sarah’s story began in Zhytomyr, where the harsh realities of the invasion forced her to navigate the chaos, seeking refuge from the frightening explosions. Alone and scared, she ran in search of safety, unaware of who she could trust. The loud, terrifying sounds were perplexing, and the absence of familiar faces added to her distress.

Taking a courageous leap of faith, Sarah found solace at the block post of the Ukrainian territorial defense, where she sought refuge. Pavlo, our beloved manager, took her to our Zhytomyr peretrymka kennel house after this initial rescue. Following his untimely demise, we had to relocate her to a temporary foster home.

Now, an incredible opportunity awaits Sarah – a chance to join her forever family in the USA, under the care of one of our dedicated supporters’ sisters.
