Rest in peace, dear Maya.

Maya was rescued from the streets by our partner Big Heart. She had been poisoned and suffered an injury meaning part of her lower back leg was amputated. She was not able to move well so we decided she’d be better suited to living in one of our houses.

When Maya arrived, we took her to the clinic where they told us that she’s likely in a lot of pain and would need a wheelchair or further operation in the future. The vets prescribed painkillers and Maya immediately improved and would race around the garden and house after her friends. She did everything with a smile on her face and was an amazing adoptive mum to our young dogs!

At least you lived your last days warm, pain free and immensely loved.
