Resilient Dogs Find Loving US Homes Amidst Challenges!
Lady and Krasava have arrived in Washington DC, where they were warmly welcomed by their new families! Witness Lady, who has already settled into her forever home, complete with a cozy dog bed! We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all those who generously donated to make this mission possible, as well as to Pogatowie shelter and our dedicated flight volunteer, Koby. Your support and efforts have made a remarkable difference. 🙏
Lady’s journey has been marked by incredible resilience. She tragically lost her eyeballs due to a missile blast and was left to wander the streets of Bucha (Kyiv region) during a month-long occupation by Russian invaders. Suffering and directionless, she was fortunate enough to be rescued by volunteers after the invaders departed the northern part of Kyiv. It was the compassionate action of concerned neighbors that led to her salvation.
Similarly, Krasava and her mother were abandoned by their owners when the war broke out. Unable to survive on their own, a compassionate homeless woman took them under her wing. However, when neighbors complained about the noise and mess, the police were called. With nowhere else to turn, this resilient woman reached out to one of our dedicated volunteers for help.
After enduring such trials, Lady and Krasava have finally found solace in the United States, where they can now experience safety, love, and the warmth of their forever homes. Their journey is a testament to the power of compassion and the transformative impact that caring individuals can have on the lives of innocent animals.
Aika and Blanka fly the 25th and Leila, Bibi, Eva, Red abd Smilyk will fly in mid July!
