Rescue Street Cats: Rambo’s Fight for a New Life

Rescue Street Cats: Rambo’s Fight for a New Life

Yesterday, our teammate Katya took Rambo — our newest rescue — to the vet. Despite his painful past, this brave boy amazed everyone with his gentle, trusting nature. It took just one doctor and an assistant to hold him, even during his blood draw — no struggle, no fear. 💛

We ran a full set of tests, and while the results will take a few days, we know Rambo’s recovery journey won’t be easy. The appointment and medications cost $135, and there’s still a long road ahead.

Katya first spotted Rambo near a highway gas station while visiting our dog Terra. Skinny, wounded, and barely surviving — that’s how most rescue street cats are found. After days of worrying, she teamed up with Nina and Mich to save him.

Rambo is estimated to be 5–7 years old, suffering from severe malnourishment, injuries, and awful dental issues. His fragile body tells a story of hardship, but his heart remains open and full of love.

This is why we fight to rescue street cats — because every life matters.

If you want to help, please consider donating toward Rambo’s treatment and care. Together, we can give him and other rescue street cats a real chance at life. 🙏🐱
