Rescue Dogs from Ukraine: Rozina Deserves a Family
Rescue dogs from Ukraine like Rozina carry stories of heartbreak and hope. Rozina is around 12 years old, and for 10 of those years, she lived in complete neglect—never touched, never walked, barely acknowledged. Most would say a dog raised in such isolation could never learn to trust, let alone love. But Rozina proved everyone wrong.
When she first came into our care, she was frightened, shaking, and would urinate out of sheer terror when picked up. She’d never lived in a home, never known affection, and didn’t understand what it meant to feel safe. But now, this extraordinary soul greets us with a happy dance—tail spinning, paws tapping, and a wide smile that melts hearts.
Despite her past, Rozina has adapted beautifully. She’s fully house-trained, calm, quiet, and deeply affectionate. She even nudges her head into our hands for pets, and one day—something we never expected—she kissed her caretaker’s face. After a decade of no love, this one small act felt like a miracle.
She’s also formed bonds with other dogs, despite years of isolation. She charmed her companions so deeply that now they look out for her like older sisters.
Rozina may not look extraordinary at first glance, but she’s a survivor who has learned to trust again. We believe she deserves to spend her final years in a loving home—not just a shelter, but a real family. She’s ready. She’s waited long enough.
Please help us find a forever home for Rozina. Let her story be one of healing, not just survival. Let her know what it truly means to belong. 🐾
