Today was Chloë Black’s very first day volunteering at our shelter — and what a perfect start it was!
She took two of our rescue dogs from Ukraine, Blanca and Gerda, out for a walk. From the very first step, it felt like love at first leash. Both girls were absolute angels — calm, gentle, and the perfect walking partners.
Chloë’s smile said it all. It’s moments like these that show how much simple acts of care can mean for rescue dogs from Ukraine — and for those who meet them.
Thank you, Chloë, for giving your heart, your time, and your kindness. The dogs felt it — and so did we. 🐾
