Rescue dog recovery: Lys is healing after heart attack
Sweet Lys is finally on the mend! His stitches have been removed, and although he still has 20 days left of heart medication (Vetmedin 10mg), he’s recovering steadily and regaining his strength 💛
✨ Lys’s story is one of hope and survival:
In early April, our devoted rescue partner Yulia spotted him in terrible condition—soaked, freezing, and digging through trash near a road where he was nearly hit by a car. He was starving and barely holding on. Thankfully, she acted fast and brought him to safety. What she found was a loving, gentle soul just waiting for a second chance.
Thanks to your support, Lys received urgent medical care. He was neutered, vaccinated, and given the love he desperately needed. But just when it seemed he was finally safe, Lys suffered a sudden heart attack. Emergency care saved his life, and now he’s bravely continuing his recovery journey.
