Peppa arrived at a shelter near Kyiv as a young dog. While she was lucky to find a safe place in a well-run shelter, street dogs in Ukraine often struggle to find homes. As the years passed, Peppa remained overlooked. When the Russian military invaded nearby areas, there were fears that Peppa’s shelter would be next. To keep her safe, she was evacuated from Ukraine.
Peppa is a gentle and shy dog, but she is incredibly sweet. She gets along well with other dogs and has never shown aggression. While she hasn’t lived with children or cats, she is leash-trained and, despite never living in a home, would likely adapt to toilet training quickly.
Peppa has spent her entire life in a shelter, but she still holds on to hope. She’s healthy, fully vetted, and ready to meet her future family. Could you be the one to make her dream come true? 💕
