Meet wonderful Maya!

Meet wonderful Maya! She is at our Kyiv peretrymka (kennel) house now and she really needs a loving family

Some time ago, Maya was found in Boryspil after she had a train accident. The dog was found wounded near the railway tracks. Completely helpless, she was bleeding. The volunteers managed to save Maya’s life, but she lost part of her back leg.

Unfortunately, the dog’s suffering didn’t end there. She’s back on the street again. She got lonely again, and nobody cared about her. She was trying to survive as best she could in search of food. But Maya is a very trusting dog and one day she trusted the wrong person. Maya was poisoned

At the last moment, caring people noticed the dog’s suffering and took her to the clinic. After everything she had been through, Maya was at the shelter…for many years. Alone again.

We took Maya to our house in Kyiv. Now she can feel the atmosphere of home Maya is kind and gentle dog. She needs her person very much. After all the suffering she has experienced, she deserves the love and care of a true Friend-Human.

Maya is an amazing character with a very humorous side. She absolutely loves people and attention and, asks for it for hours Maya only likes a soft pillow to lie next to her people or dogs, whom she considers friends (usually young, small dogs). She is waiting for a set of wheels that we think she will enjoy as she is a very active dog.

* With Dogs: good with those she considers friends (usually young, small dogs). She lives at one of our houses in Kyiv with 16 dogs and cats.

* With cats: She doesn’t like cats, however, she can run to chase them!

* Health: Sterilized and vaccinated. Missing back leg below the knee as a result of an accident. Damaged teeth due to poisoning, as well as a nervous twitch. Treat the painkillers daily for damage to her back leg. Maya requires a wheelchair – we are in the process of getting one.
