Meet Patron: Ukrainian Hero Dog Sniffing Out Explosives!

Have you ever heard of Patron (Bullet)? The Ukrainian dog with a life-saving job sniffing explosives!

He’s a member of a explosives detection unit that is clearing re-taken Ukrainian territory, where retreating Russian forces planted landmines and booby-traps.

He has also become something of a national hero, a symbol of Ukraine’s resistance against Russia and was presented with the award by Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky!

A friend of our rescue sent this shirt as a present to our directors 4 year old son He wore it to preschool and was excited to tell his class about the “war hero dog that is helping people in Ukraine so they don’t get hurt by bad guys.” Those are his words
