Lura Finds a New Home in Europe Thanks to Lisa Hofmann

Great news! Our friend, Lisa Coley Hofmann, has taken Lura in to help prepare her for life in a home after spending her entire life in a shelter. And soon, she will be heading to her new family in Europe!

As a puppy, Lura was fortunate to be brought to a well-run shelter in Borispol, Ukraine, near Kyiv. Unfortunately, street dogs are not popular for adoption in Ukraine, so Lura stayed at that shelter for six years.

Tragically, the only home Lura had ever known was invaded by the Russian military, and many shelters were cut off from everything for five weeks. Lura was evacuated from Ukraine to Romania and has spent the last few years in a shelter there.

And now, we are incredibly happy that, thanks to Lisa, Lura has such an amazing chance! Thank you, Lisa! Let’s wish Lura good luck! ❤️😍
