Help Us Keep Animals Safe in the Freezing Winter
For DAYS, our shelter in Kyiv has had ZERO electricity due to the destruction of power plants. It’s freezing, and we are struggling to survive. Running the generator costs $86 per day 😱 — over $2,500 per month, an amount we simply cannot cover.
Temperatures have dropped to –15°C (5°F), with no heat, no light, and no hot water. Russia’s attacks have devastated Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, leaving the city under emergency blackouts. Repair crews are working tirelessly, but there is no clear timeline for restoring power.
The situation is worsening: snow and ice are not being cleared, public transport has partially stopped, shops are closing, and essential services are collapsing. Officials are advising people to leave Kyiv, but there is nowhere for us to go 😫
We have only 3 DAYS of diesel fuel left. To survive this winter and keep our animals safe, we urgently need your help — donations, solar panels, or any support is vital.
