Lissa’s Rescue Story: From Shelter Dog to Family Member
We’re thrilled to share a heartwarming success story: Lissa, a dog who spent her entire life in a shelter, has finally found her forever home with a kind and loving German family! Her adoption is a shining example of how rescuing stray dogs transforms lives—not just for the dogs, but also for the families who welcome them.
Lissa’s journey wasn’t easy. She was one of 18 homeless dogs our organization evacuated to Romania at the start of the invasion. For three years, we’ve been covering the costs of shelter rent and care for these rescued dogs, which has been a significant financial challenge. Lissa’s adoption is not only a triumph for her but also a reminder of how important it is to find loving homes for stray and abandoned dogs.
With Lissa now living her best life, we’re focusing on the two remaining rescue dogs still awaiting their chance for a forever home: Peppa and Biemond.
Meet Peppa and Biemond: Loving Dogs in Need of Forever Homes
Both Peppa and Biemond are amazing examples of how rescue dogs can bring love and joy into a family. These two homeless dogs are incredibly friendly, affectionate, and human-oriented. They are longing for a second chance to be part of a caring family.
Currently, Peppa and Biemond remain in Romania, but they are fully ready to travel anywhere in the world to meet their forever families. To make the process easier, we’ve organized a monthly adoption transport to Germany, Switzerland, and Austria, ensuring these rescue dogs can quickly and safely join their new homes.
