📖 Druzjok Gave His All — Now He Needs Us

Please help us care for dogs like Druzjok 🐾

Born on a cold factory lot, Druzjok (which means “Buddy”) earned his name by simply being who he is — a quiet, kind soul. While his siblings wrestled and played, Druzjok stood back, watching with gentle, thoughtful eyes.

He grew up to be the most loyal companion to Slava, a factory guard in Kyiv. Through freezing winters, air raids, and missile attacks, Druzjok stayed by his side. While other dogs ran for cover, he walked the grounds with quiet bravery — always near his human.

But time has taken its toll. Druzjok’s back legs are failing him now. Still, he tries to walk, to follow Slava like he always has. His eyes carry the same kindness… but now also the pain of trying to keep up when his body can’t.

We’re doing everything possible to ease his pain and give him comfort — but we’re running out of resources. Our shelter is $2,339 short on covering basic costs like food, medicine, and care for dogs like Druzjok who’ve given their entire lives in loyalty and love.
