From Missile-Devastated Mariupol to a Life of Joy

Greetings from Skye! 🥰👋 Have you met Skye, the resilient survivor of Mariupol’s tragic missile attack? This remarkable canine has thrived over the past year in her Northern European home, offering invaluable emotional support to psychiatric patients and relishing every moment of her newfound joyous life! 🥹

Skye’s journey began amidst the devastation of Mariupol, where she once had a loving family before war tore through their lives. The city’s destruction left her trapped in a missile-demolished building, struggling with hunger and thirst. Miraculously, volunteers spotted her, peering out from the ninth floor, a desperate plea for help. In a daring move for survival, Skye leaped from the building, defying the odds and surviving with multiple injuries.

Rescued and brought to our Kyiv house, Skye received the care she needed. Through dedicated treatment, she not only recovered but learned to walk again! Eventually, she found a forever home in Northern Europe, where she now enjoys a fulfilling life—working, playing with canine companions, and bringing joy to those in need.
