For more than seven years, we’ve been on the ground rescuing injured, abandoned, and frightened street animals across Ukraine. And for the last three, we’ve done this work in the middle of an active war — where every day comes with new challenges.

Still, our little shelter in Kyiv keeps going. It’s home to 45 cats and dogs who would have nowhere else to turn. Our volunteers stay through long nights of air raid sirens and explosions, comforting animals who shake in fear. And whenever one of our pets is adopted abroad, we open our doors to another animal that desperately needs help.

But the truth is, we are constantly fighting just to stay afloat. Rent, food, and veterinary care stretch us to the limit every single month.

This Giving Tuesday and throughout the holiday season, we’re trying to raise $5,000 so we can finally pay off our vet bills and stock up on enough food to get our animals through the harsh winter. These funds will also allow us to continue rescuing the most vulnerable animals still struggling to survive in a country at war ❤️‍🩹
