Deadly Missile Strike Hits Kyiv High-Rise, Kills 6+
In the early hours of Monday, June 23, Russian forces unleashed a devastating missile and drone barrage on Kyiv, targeting residential zones and leaving behind scenes of destruction and tragedy.
One of the most severely impacted areas was a high-rise building in the Shevchenkivskyi district. A large section of the structure collapsed, claiming the lives of at least six people. Dozens more were injured, and emergency crews continue to search the rubble for survivors.
The assault included kamikaze drones as well as cruise and ballistic missiles, with Kyiv and the surrounding region bearing the brunt of the attack. Residential buildings, hospitals, and even sports facilities sustained significant damage. As of now, several people remain trapped beneath the debris.
