Chicco & Rambo Need Help to Survive the Freezing Winter
Hello from Chicco and Rambo. 💛
Life at the shelter is extremely difficult right now. After Russian strikes destroyed power plants, we’ve been without electricity for days — in the middle of a harsh winter. Night temperatures are dropping to –15°C (5°F). There is no heat, no light, no hot water, and air raid sirens wake us again and again through the night.
To keep our animals and staff from freezing, we rely entirely on a generator. But fuel alone costs $86 every single day — more than $2,500 a month, an amount we simply cannot manage. Right now, we only have diesel left for three more days. 😭
