Rozina’s story is one of fear, loss, and years without kindness. She is an elderly rescue dog who survived the cold streets, hunger, and constant uncertainty. For a long time, she had no safe place to rest and no gentle hands to comfort her. Eventually, Rozina ended up in a shelter where conditions were harsh and human interaction was rare. The dogs there received minimal care and never truly experienced love.

To this day, Rozina does not understand what a tender touch feels like. Her fear of people is so strong that her entire body stiffens at the slightest movement toward her. And yet, there is no aggression in her heart. She is calm, gentle, and incredibly sweet. Her trust is simply hidden deep inside, protected by years of painful experiences.

Rozina once had a sister. They were inseparable – sleeping side by side, keeping each other warm, offering silent comfort in a difficult world. Then tragedy struck – her sister was killed by a passing car. That loss left Rozina completely alone. Today, her home is our dog shelter, where we work every single day to help her feel safe.

Her other sisters have already found loving families. They, too, were once terrified of every touch and every unfamiliar sound. But with patience and compassion, their fear slowly faded. Today, they are loyal and devoted companions. We believe Rozina deserves that same chance. She may never be the kind of dog who runs joyfully into someone’s arms. But that does not mean she does not deserve warmth, security, and dignity.
